About two weeks ago, I went to the church in Tainan near the Tainan city hall. It was a cold day. I arrived about 9:30,but there had been so many people waiting outside, going to worship. When I entered in, I felt very peaceful. Everyone had a gentle on his or her face. I thought it will be interesting to join their ceremony.

I really enjoyed in singing the songs although I never sing it before, I like the music and lyrics. I felt sing the songs that gave me the energy. I think I can never forget that day, for it is really special and unique. Then, the minister began his speaking. First, he lead us to read John 3:3-8. Then, he told us that everyone has to regeneration because by the ablutions to death, it can take away dirty. That means you get rid of the dirty, then, accept the new thing. He also told us believe what the God says, therefore, God will give you the glory.

Although I am not a Christian, but I know something about Christianity. Because when I was in junior high and senior high school, I had to go church to worship and listen to the minister to discourse on every Monday. It reminds me a lot of memories when I was at school.

It is cold these days. Some elders and patients must feel uncomfortable because the temperature dropped abruptly. For example, the person who have heart problems and apoplexy. My grandfather has myocardial infarction. He felt his chest was tight and hard to breathe when the weather changed. I always worried about him because he lived with my grandmother, but no younger ones lived with them. If they fell ill suddenly, but no one noticed them. We will miss the first aid time. What my family have to do now is to take care of them more carefully, especially to give a phone call or stay with them to ensure that they have no problems.

The traffic in Taiwan is really messy. A car almost hit me when I on the way to my home because he or she did not stop at yellow light. He or she kept driving without knowing I was at another side. It was rush hour at that time and I knew everybody wanted to go home immediately. But, as a driver, they have to watch out the situation around them, not just have their own ways when driving. In Taiwan, the yellow light is going to remind drivers to stop before the red light, but they like to speed up their car when light is yellow. It will cause the car accident. I hope everyone attends to follow traffic rules.

I read news about the stomach of cancer today. According to the statistics, the people in Taiwan prefer to eat salting food and strongly taste food. They have more possibility to suffer the stomach of cancer than the people who eat lightly. Therefore, suffering this cancer is related to what we eat, the inheritance, and the environment we live. The researchers suggest us that we have to eat the fresh vegetables, dairy products, and ingest vitamins, such as A, C, E. In my opinion, changing the bad eating habits, but eating lightly. And having a regular exercise is the best crosscut to keep away the diseases.

My grandmother told me that she has a tumor in her right breast. Suddenly, I felt sad and hugged her in my arms. I can’t believe it because she’s a healthy person. In order to sure that tumor is benignancy or not, she went to Chimei Hospital and National Ceng Kung University Hospital to have an accuracy check last week. Sadly, that is a malignance tumor. She will have a surgery next week. What I have to do now is to accompany with her or do something for her. I hope she will be fine after the surgery. It reminds me that I have to pay more attention on my health. To have a healthy body is much more important than anything.

Drug abused is a serious problem in Taiwan. Some gangs or bad guys use drugs to control people. They even provide them for free drugs. After they are addicted to it, they spend more money to buy drugs. Recently, the news showed a lot of people who are arrested because they use drugs. This causes social problems and leads our society in chaos. For example, when they run out of money to buy drugs. They may crazy to rub banks or kidnap rich persons to ask how much money they want. In my opinion, we should reject to use drugs because it is harmful to our health. I know it is hard to quit, but use drugs to anesthetize is wrong.

Friend and I cooked lunch today. We both like to eat spaghetti, so we cooked it for our lunch. I cooked bacons and onions first. Then, She cooked spaghetti to get ready for use. After few minutes, I poured out the tomato sauce into the pot to mix with bacon and onions. It smelled good. Actually, the steps what we did was right and there was no mistake. Then, I finally added some water into the pot because the sauce was too sticky. Otherwise, it would be too salty. But, after what we did, I guessed we were wrong because the sauce was too runny. After entering water, the sauce flavor was too light. The food looked delicious, but it was unpalatable. We would like to eat in restaurants instead of cooking by ourselves.

The person who annoys me the most is my mother. She likes to cook salty food, which my father likes to eat. The worst food she cooks is the rice blends with oil, soybean sauce, and some dried seafood. I don’t like this kind of food very much. It is too salty and fatty. It’s not good for health. Therefore, my stomach has some problems. She always forces me to eat more, but my stomach can’t bear. I wish my mother could cook lightly, but not just cook what my father wants to eat. She has to take care what I want to eat.

I work in a private cram school. I am a teaching assistant there. I have two jobs there. One is to check students’ homework on Tuesday. Another is to teach children how to study English on Saturday. I like this job because it is interesting. The children are naïve, intelligence, and diligent. They are easy to teach. Therefore, I don’t have to worry about that they are too naughty or too noisy in class. I like them very much. I love this working environment although the pay is not very high. Maybe I will keep stay at there until I graduate from university.

My personality is pessimistic, however, my friend Jocelyne is an optimistic person. When I feel stressful or sad, such as I fail in the exam, having some arguments with my parents, and friendship problems, etc. I always chat with her or ask her out to eat delicious food. She is a kind girl. I like to ask her for some advice or search the best ways together to solve my problems. She sometimes gives me some tips and wants me to think about it for a while. She often tells me that I can do it better next time. She’s nice person. I admire her very much.

A month ago, my cousin's grandfather suffered from the blood cancer- leukemia. Initially, he didn't find him suffer the cancer. He just felt dizzy and feeble. Until one day, he was faint and sent to the hospital immediately. He was diagnosed as leukemia. Although the doctor gave him treatment to prevent from being caught bacteria. But, it was still no use. He passed away after two weeks. When I heard that bad news, I felt sad. It reminds that I have to pay more attention on my health. I always stay up to study or surf the Internet. Therefore, to have a healthy body is much more important than anything. I think I should have regular lifestyle.
